Mission Statement

Dean Bedford / Founder & President Dean was born on February 7th 1966 in Washington, D.C. He has founded and headquartered PLANet Systems Group in Charlottesville, Virginia back in 1997. As a peer-review and programming expert with over 20 years of professional experience, Dean has played a significant role in scholarly publishing, being actively involved in this industry right from the very dawn of the online peer-review technology. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1989, with a degree in history. Dean also serves as a member on the board of directors of the Thomas Jefferson Institute of International Policy. He is an avid runner who competes in half and full marathons in North America and Europe. Dean is married to Martina and they have two daughters, Eva Lily & Karolina.

Vladimir Dukic / Chief Operating Officer (COO) Vladimir was born in Novi Sad, Serbia on December 8th 1972. He has graduated from the school of Traffic & Transportation Engineering in Novi Sad. He founded Technology Without Borders with his brother Mladen and Dean Bedford. He is married. Vladimir has rich Management and Web Development experience. He was previously employed by Video Byte (Novi Sad, Serbia), Auto-Tehnika (Novi Sad, Serbia), Globopolis.com (Prague, Czech Republic), In Your Pocket (Prague, Czech Republic). Vladimir's determination and commitment to education make him the driving force of our Serbian operations. His skills include 10 years of Web Development and Design and rich management experience. Vladimir is fluent in Serbian and English.

Mladen Dukic / Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mladen was born in Novi Sad, Serbia on January 27th 1971. Mladen graduated from the school of Electrical Engineering and later completed many programming courses in Serbia, Czech Republic and Denmark. Mladen is married, with two children (Isidora & Relja). Mladen has 10 years of management experience as a Team Leader and 8 years of programing experience. He was previously employed by Gutenberg & Byte (Sr. Karlovci, Serbia - 7 years), Globopolis.com (Prague, Czech Republic - 2 years), Contactel (Prague, Czech Republic - 2 years). He possesses a wide range of programming skills (PL/SQL, PHP, ColdFusion) and rich experience in Databases. He is fluent in Serbian, English and Czech and speaks basic German.

Dragan Predojevic / Creative Director Dragan was born on March 12th 1972 in Novi Sad. He holds a B.A. from the Department of sculpture, Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad, where he finished his graduate studies in the class of professor Borislava Nedeljkovic-Prodanovic. He had worked as an Assistant professor at the Department of New Media for 4 years, prior to joining the PLANet Systems Group Team in 2005. Dragan is fluent in Serbian and English.

Marina Medic / Marketing & Sales Manager Marina was born on August 1st 1976. She graduated from Belgrade University and holds a B.A. in Japanese Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philology, Department of Oriental Studies. For the past 12 years she has actively worked as a translator. She is married, with two sons (Danilo and Djordje). Prior to joining the PLANet Systems Group Team in July 2007, she was employed by Marketing Studio Palmer & Swan that later grew to become PROTOCOL Communications from Novi Sad, Serbia (between 2002 and 2007). Marina is fluent in Serbian, English and Japanese and speaks basic Italian.

Lucie Benson / Project Manager Lucie was born in Prague, Czech Republic on August 21st 1974. After finishing Business High School she studied for 1 year in International school of languages where she earned her FCE diploma in English and CIE diploma in Spanish. Prior to joining the PSG family she worked as a marketing and sales manager for online media for over 10 years. She also has extensive experience in the field of events production. Lucie is fluent in Czech and English and speaks basic Spanish.

Mission Statement

Tibor Stefan / Web Developer - Main PHP Programmer Tibor was born on April 1st 1972 in Novi Sad, Serbia. Immediately after finishing high school (Electrical Engineering) he enrolled the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, where he successfully graduated at the Department of Mechanics. For a short time he was employed in industry. After that he got a job as a teacher of computing, while at the same time he was selling and servicing computers. Finally, from 2004, he is a proud member of the PSG Danube Development Team. He excels at XHTML, PHP/MySQL, AJAX and Macromedia Flash, and he also has great knowledge of hardware. He is fluent in Serbian, Hungarian and English.

Veselko Pesut / Web Developer Born on April 18th 1972 in Novi Sad, Serbia. After finishing high school (Electrical Engineering), he  attended studies (10 semesters) on Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is married, with two children (Milica & Jovan). He has great experience in teaching Windows OS, Microsoft Office (to over 2000 people). He has  joined the PSG Danube Development Team in 2004. He has been working as a FileMaker developer since the release of the FileMaker Pro version 5 and has also worked as a web developer using PHP/MySQL. Veselko is fluent in Serbian and English.

Srdjan Sekulic / Technology and Application Development Manager Born on March 29th 1972. Upon finishing high school as a Mathematical-programming technician in 1991, he attended the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Novi Sad where he earned his BA in Tourism at the Department of Geography in 1997. Prior to joining the PSG Danube Development Team he worked in travel business as a Sales and Commercial Manager for over eight years. Srdjan is a Certified Crystal Reports Developer. He also has extensive Cognos Reports development experience. Srdjan is fluent in Serbian and English.

Miroslav Stojanovic / Senior Java Developer Born on July 6th 1977. Upon graduating from 'Josif Pancic' technical high school in Bajina Basta in 1996, he attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade where he earned his MSc in Computer Sciences and is currently attending post-graduate studies. Prior to joining the PSG Danube Development Team he worked as a team leader, software and hardware developer, earning rich experience for more than eleven years. He is passionate about computer science and technology and started exploring that filed of expertise from the age of 12 with his first ZX Spectrum computer. Miroslav is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German and Russian.

Jovan Babin / Senior Java Developer Jovan was born on December 30th 1970 in Novi Sad. After finishing Business school in Department of Computer Science, he started to work in insurance company. He has experience in development of multiplatform (Windows and Linux), Web, Client/Server and n-tier distributed applications. In June 2005, he graduated on Faculty of Management as IT manager. Jovan is fluent in Serbian and English.

Jovan Uveric / Java Developer Born on December 2nd 1980. Upon finishing Valjevo Gymnasium as a Mathematical technician in 1999, he attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade where he earned his BSc in Electrical Engineering at the Department of Computer Science in 2008. Prior to joining the PSG Danube Development Team he worked as a software developer for "ASW Engineering" Company in Belgrade. He is also a former professional handball player. Jovan is fluent in Serbian and English.

Marin Lazic / Crystal Reports / Cognos Developer Marin was born in Zagreb, Croatia on June 09th 1981. He has graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences - Novi Sad, where he obtained his MSc in Postal Traffic and Telecommunication in 2006. Marin joined the PSG Danube Development Team in 2007. He is working as a Crystal reports developer using IBM DB2 and SQL. He is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German.

Stevan Bekvalac / Software Test Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) Stevan was born in Sombor, Serbia on September 7th 1980. He earned his MA in Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy, Novi Sad in 2007. He volunteered for the NGO CeSID from 1999 until the beginning of the 2007, when he joined the PSG Danube Development Team. Stevan is fluent in Serbian and English

Zoran Dragovic / Software Test Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) Zoran was born in Rijeka, Croatia, on April 14th, 1977. He graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad University, where he earned his M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He joined the PSG Danube Development Team in April, 2008, as a Software Test Engineer, QA. He has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and holds a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certificate. Zoran is fluent in Serbian and English.

Dalibor Gulic / Software Test Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) Dalibor was born in Vukovar, Croatia, on August 10th 1973. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Nis. Dalibor is married, with two children (Lana and Jovan). He joined the PSG Danube Development Team in May, 2010. Prior to joining PSG he worked as an R&D engineer in “Lucky Line” company in Novi Sad. Dalibor is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German.

Boris Sabados / Software Test Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) Born in Vrbas, Serbia, on October 5th 1983. He graduated from 'Petro Kuzmjak' high school in Ruski Krstur, Serbia and went on to complete his University studies at the Faculty of Economics in Novi Sad, at the Business Information Systems Department. He joined the PSG Danube Development Team as a Software Test Engineer, QA in May 2010. Boris is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic Russian.

Isidora Rajsic / Implementation Manager Born in Novi Sad, Serbia, on March 30th 1980, she graduated with high honors from Canada’s Carleton University and holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree. She has an extensive professional background in many realms of media, including published articles in several print publications, TV and video production and public relations management. Most recently, she worked as a public relations manager at Hammer Production Studios and is a contributing writer for White City magazine. Isidora is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic Spanish and French.

Mission Statement

Branimir Bojic / Customer Support Manager Born in Zrenjanin, Serbia, on March 18th 1983, he graduated from Belgrade University, Faculty of Philology and holds a BA in World Literature and Theory of Literature. From 2006 till late 2007 he worked for the Association of writers of Vojvodina as an interpreter. He also worked as a reporter for a local radio station Radio 021. Branimir is fluent in Serbian, English and Italian and speaks basic German and Bulgarian.

Dusica Zegarac / Peer Review Analyst - CSR Dusica was born in Novi Sad, Serbia on February 19th 1983. She graduated from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad University, where she earned her academic title of Master of Engineering Management in the field of Industrial Engineering and Management in 2007. Dusica is fluent in Serbian, English and speaks basic Spanish and Japanese.

Aleksandar Crnjanski / Peer Review Analyst - CSR Aleksandar was born on March 5th 1981, in Zrenjanin, Serbia where he is currently finishing his studies in Computer Engineering at the Technical University “Mihajlo Pupin.” Prior to joining the PSG Family he worked in different areas of marketing and hospitality and his last position was as the Manager of a popular club in Zrenjanin called ‘The Basement’. Aleksandar is fluent in English and Serbian.

Adela Tot / Peer Review Analyst - CSR Adela was born in Novi Sad, Serbia on February 20th 1972. She is an undergraduate at Novi Sad University, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Russian language. Prior to joining the PSG Family she worked in Tica Media Agency as a Secretary and an Organizer of book fairs and festivals for Vega Media Publishing Company. She has worked as a freelance translator since 2006. Adela is fluent in Serbian, Russian and English.

Jadranka Bokan / Peer Review Analyst - CSR - German Language Born in Novi Sad, Serbia, on March 30th 1979, she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of German Language in 2003. Jadranka also holds a MA in East-West-Studies from Europaeum, University of Regensburg, Germany, where she studied from 2007 till 2009 as a grantee of the “Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung” Foundation. Prior to joining the PSG Family she worked as a translator for German and English for “Color Press Group” Publishing Company. She has also worked as a freelance co-worker for the “Goethe Institut” during their international language summer courses in Germany and the “ifa” (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) branch in Sombor as a Juniorteamer Europa. Jadranka is fluent in Serbian, German and English.

Jelena Prole / Peer Review Technology Expert Born in Kikinda, Serbia on December 6th 1972, she attended the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad and graduated from the Department of Chemistry. She is married, with one son (Andrija). Prior to joining the PSG European Customer Team, Jelena worked for 5 years in Hotel Park, Novi Sad as a Sales Manager. Jelena is fluent in Serbian and English.

Jelena Kohajm / Professional Editorial Support Account Manager Jelena was born in Sinj, Croatia, on December 21st 1979. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Belgrade University, Department of International Relations. She is married. Prior to joining the PSG Family she worked as a commercialist for ‘Monera Export – Import’ Company and as an administrative and technical secretary for ‘Brazda’, Novi Sad. She also volunteered for the following NGOs: Center for Development of Serbia, ADF (America’s Development Foundation) and CEKOM (Center for Creative Growing Up and Multicultural Cooperation) between 2003 and 2006. Jelena is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German.

Ivana Drazic / CSI Manager, Professional Editorial Office Support Ivana was born on May 22nd 1977 in Novi Sad, Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and holds a BA in English Language and Literature. Prior to joining PSG Family she worked as an English language teacher. She has worked as a part-time translator since 2002. Ivana is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German.

Dolores Hasoon / Peer Review Analyst, Professional Editorial Office Support Dolores was born on February 4th 1987 in Rijeka, Croatia. In 2007 she graduated from the University of Adelaide, with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Corporate Finance and Management. From 2006 till 2008 Dolores was employed as a clerical assistant at The Jewellery Group, and in 2007 she was one of a few chosen to participate in a placement program through Chartered Practicing Accountants (CPA), where she got the opportunity to get firsthand experience as an assistant accountant. Dolores speaks fluent Serbian and English; and basic French and Spanish.

Sladjana Matic / Peer Review Analyst, Professional Editorial Office Support Sladjana was born in Senta, Serbia, on May 14th 1978. She graduated from the University of Novi Sad and holds a BA in Geography and Travel. After working for two years in a prestigious Claridge's Hotel in London, she freelanced as a web designer and Internet Marketing SEO Advisor. Sladjana is fluent in Serbian and English and speaks basic German, Spanish and Hungarian.

Akane Nisic / Peer Review Analyst, Professional Editorial Office Support - Japanese Language Akane was born on May 17th, 1983 in Kyoto, Japan. She graduated in 2006 from Kansai Gaidai University with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages with English concentration and from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Prior to joining the PSG family, she worked as an international programs advisor at Elon University. Akane is fluent in Japanese and English, and is currently learning Serbian.

Robert Bartos / Peer Review Analyst, Professional Editorial Office Support Robert was born on August 17th 1966 in Novi Sad, Serbia. After finishing high school, he attended the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of English Language and Literature in Novi Sad. He is married. Prior to joining the PSG Family he worked in different areas in design and prepress industry for 18 years and owned his own businesses. Robert is fluent in Serbian, English and speaks basic German.

Dejan Cvetinic / Peer Review Analyst Dejan was born on April 26th 1972 in Novi Sad, Serbia. After finishing high School in 1991, he enrolled the Faculty of Natural Sciences in Novi Sad where he earned his BA in Tourism at the Department of Geography and Tourism in 1997. He is married, with two daughters (Katarina and Isidora). Prior to joining the PSG Family he worked in travel and tourism business as a Sales and Commercial Manager in several agencies. Dejan is fluent in Serbian, English and speaks basic German.

Budimir Jelic / Peer Review Analyst Budimir was born on March 30th 1980 in Novi Sad, Serbia where he is currently finishing his studies at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica. Prior to joining the PSG Family he worked in different areas not related to the branch. Budimir is fluent in English and Serbian.

Sonja Stojanovic / Peer Review Analyst Sonja was born in Derventa, Republika Srpska, on June 8th 1986. She is currently attending studies at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of German Language and Literature in Novi Sad, where she enrolled after graduating from Belgrade Philological Gymnasium, Department of German Language and Literature with English as a second language. She is fluent in English, German and Spanish, and speaks basic Italian and Portuguese.

Dragana Cerimagic / Peer Review Analyst Dragana was born on May 11th 1968. in Kraljevo, Serbia. After finishing High school she studied English language at Novi Sad University for three years. Prior to joining PSG family in July 2010. she worked as an interviewer for Millward Brown - market research company in Dublin. She is married with two kids. Dragana is fluent in Serbian and English.
