MEET YOUR ASSISTANTS
We are your reliable and trusted advisor. We are cost effective, have rich experience in this line of business and fully understand the industry which guarantees the quality of our work. We posses expertise in all aspects of the peer review software, serving as a reliable resource for the Editor.
We follow standard practices for processing manuscripts submitted for peer review by adopting journal specific procedures while adjusting to the individual needs of the Editor.
Our duties are to notify, monitor and execute decisions throughout the entire peer review cycle, making sure to guide the progress of the manuscripts from submission to production.
We are also available to virtually communicate with Editors. With the advantage of our location, our availability can overlap with the work hours of Editors located in different parts of the world. This allows us to have seamless communication, essential in ensuring a smooth peer review process and assisting Editors with their needs.
PLANet Systems Group™ has been involved in online scholarly peer review and publishing from its very beginnings. During the early nineties, Dean E. Bedford, the principal founder of PSG, was the first to develop Manuscript Manager, one of the industry’s first peer review applications while working as a developer for Carden Jennings Publishing. The first Manuscript Manager Peer Review Application provided manuscript management for peer review processes of manuscripts published in Medical Journals and served as a foundation of the widely successful Manuscript Central application, now managed and deployed by ScholarOne, a Thomson Reuters business.
In 2004, ScholarOne Manuscripts end-user support for Europe-based users was set up with two full-time employees based in our office in Novi Sad, Serbia as Tier One case support. Over the years, our professional peer review support team has grown to 58 members with over 190 total years of relevant professional experience.
